Have you found an accessible virtual hunting sight?
I'm interested.

Wrong, Joel --
I now use a 50 caliber sniper rifle for hunting. I can drop a target over a
mile and a half away, and make quite a mess of it even from that distance.
And if the deer is hiding behind the engine of a car, I can place a round
through the block of that engine, and still drop that buck where it stands.
But using a laser makes it so much easier to place a round exactly where I
want it to go, thus eliminating the possibility of just wounding the animal
and causing it to suffer. This way, it's instant lights out.
I invite you to come virtual hunting with me sometime, Joel. I think you'd
be quite impressed, if not amused at the wonderful time one can have with
such a weapon. Even if you miss your intended target, you can still take
down an entire building with the fire power that puppy has. :)
After all, if hunting is good enough for our Vice President and his friends,
then it's good enough for you and me! <smile>

you don't think a laser is any different from a scope? Way wrong. You're
the firearms lover. Just think again. I've long been amused at the idea of
your defending your Oreange county castle against whoever it is like Mr.
Magoo with an Uzi or a Glock or whatever your latest favorite weapon is. Is
the idea to just hold your breath and spray rounds back and forth and hope
to hit something?Or maybe the dog is gonna aim?
gonna aim? The dog? Jeez. O beautiful for spacious sskies. If you ain't
behind the blind marksmen, get in front of them. They ain't gonna hit
nothing, anyway.
pies.

I see no problem with allowing the blind to hunt, especially when it is
under the supervision of a sighted guide. So what if he uses a laser
targetting system? Isn't that about the same as using a telescope for
sighting in on one's target?
I may, however, have an objection to using a spotlight to cause the deer to
freeze in the light, but I would have no objection to using cars headlights,
and using the car itself to mow down the deer, as happens all the time with
sighted drivers.
