Mike, This is Kaye Sinclair Alan Mattison's wife. We met at the Dallas
national NFB conv this year. I'm sorry to tell you this but Alan became a
silent key last Sunday Dec 3. I found him sitting in his computer chair
listening to George Strait Christmas music. He apparently went fast, from
a heart attack. He hadn't been being really good about his meds and his
sugars we think were pretty much out of control.... I had to give up
nagging him about his meds and diet years ago.. I wish he hadn't been so
hard headed... But then that is part of the reason I loved him. I don't
know how to post to any of the list that he might have been on or even
much about his web pages. I know that Sat he had been knocking heads with
writing HTML for his blind support site- I never even figured out if he
fixed his problem...

Mike if you can let others in the natl blind computer and radio folks know
I would appreciate it. You can get me at this email or my work one at
