[gui-talk] Skype upgrade question

skype 3.0?! to my knowledge, there is no skype 3.0 . skype 2.5 is the 
current version with skype 2.6 eing available as an early preview, 
i.e. an alpha at the moment.

Generally, you can upgrade over an existing version of skype but I 
would recommend making a backup of your skype user data folder, 
usually found in

c:\documents and settings\yourName\application data\skype

To make a backup, just copy the skype application data folder.
