[gui-talk] deleting bookmarks in firefox

Hi Gang,

I can't seem to figure out how to delete selected bookmarks in 
firefox.  I finally found where to find the favorites in firefox but 
can't seem to delete any of them.   Also is it possible to put a 
shortcut to the desktop from the bookmarks?  I wish they were as 
simple as the favorites in internet explorer.
