[gui-talk] Alva Satellite Braille Display

Hi Steve,

I have a satellite 70-cell unit, but imagine the overall layout
is the same.

On the right end of the display just below the braille cells is a group of rubberized button.

There are four in a group with a long rubberized button on each side of that.

Press the two long buttons and the bottom of that group of four all at the same time and it will put you into the display's menu.

On the front of the display there are several bars and buttons. Near the right is a small round button, the second button in from the right end of the display.
Press this to get back out of the menus.

The manual I got with mine was terribly outdated and frankly of almost no real use. I haven't found a more current one, but you might check out the site at:

www.visioncue.com and see what you can find. They do have Alva drivers, but haven't seen any of the documentation there.

Hello All,

What is the key sequence to activate configuration mode on the Alva
Satellite Braille display? Also, does anyone know a source on the internet
where I can download the manual for this unit?

Thanks,

Steve
