[gui-talk] excel question!

The grid lines option is on the Sheet tab of the Page Setup dialog box
which can be accessed from the File menu. It is a checkbox entitled
"Girdlines".

I believe the default in Excel 2003 is not to print the gridlines. So
if there are lines within the boxes, it might be due to cell borders
being used.

Since you mentioned "Simple Layout", I want to check and see if you have
applied the "Simple" format to the sheet using the AutoFormat dialog
box. By default, that will put borders separating a header row and
first column from the rest of the data.

To remove all borders from the sheet, you can press CTRL+A to select all
cells, CTRL+1 to bring up the Format Cells dialog. CTRL+TAB to the
Borders dialog and choose the "None" button (ALT+N).

Hope this helps.

Subject: [gui-talk] excel question!

Hello Everyone,
Can someone please tell me how I can remove the grid lines in excel? I
would like to use a simple layout and I do not want to print out all of
the grid lines with my printer.
Since the data will be rolls it is not necessary to print all of the
many grid lines and waste the ink in my printer.
Thank in advance for any information.
