[Faith-talk] Prayer request: finding a church

Hello, everyone!  First of all, I wanted to thank you all for your responses 
to my request for prayer and suggestions about finding a church.  I really 
appreciate it, and it reminds me what wonderful brothers and sisters I have 
in Christ, even when I've run away from Him.

Linda, your point about being angry at myself if I am angry at the church is 
well-taken.  And yes, I guess in some degree, I am angry with myself. Angry 
at some of my own behavior, angry for backsliding as far as I have, scared 
about returning to Christ and changing the way I've been living, etc.

I have found a church that looks interesting, and is even within walking 
distance of where I live.  I think I am going to try and go there tomorrow 
morning.  I'm a little nervous about how to find it if I walk, because I am 
unfamiliar with that particular area, but I think it's worth it.  I'll let 
you guys know how it goes.  You can tell a lot about a church by the way it 
treats and welcomes totally new people.

Anyway, thank you so much for your responses and prayers, and please 
continue them.
