[Faith-talk] Prayer request: finding a church

Hello, everyone.  I know I have not made a lot of posts to this list, but there is much on my heart this morning, and this seemed like a good place to post. 

Long story short, I have been running from God a lot in these past few months, really struggling with my faith.  Last night it occurred to me that what I really need to find is a church.  However, that's not always easy, and I have had a lot of anger with the church.  no particular denomination, but the church in general.  I find that I often get treated like a church's weekly ministry project, not a full member of the congregation who is able to minister to others and be involved in church activities.  Have any of the rest of you noticed this as blind people?  If so, how did you find a church that accepted you as an equal, not as a charity case? 

Any feedback would be welcome.  Also, would any of you who are willing please pray that God would lead me to a community of believers where I can belong, grow, and learn?  Thanks.
