Hello,
First I want to thank those of you who have emailed me. I have been
a convert to the faith for three years now, and since then I've become a
Lector in my perish and an Extraordinary Minister so I can setup for
Adoration, and yes I do set up the Monstrance.
I am blind, and I only use Braille. I get my proper's of the Mass
in Braille, and the Bible through Xavier Society for the Blind. However,
Xavier does not have the weekly readings, and they don't put books into
Braille unless they are very popular, at least that's what they tell me.
I am also the Vocation Coordinator and Lector for the Knights of
Columbus, and I plan to organize and teach Bible studies and the Catechism.
What I'd like to know is if there are any other organizations I
could go through to get whatever I want or need put into Braille. Also, is
there any easier way to get a Braille Embosser without paying thousands of
dollars for one?
Finally, I have heard through EWTN that we do have Blind Priests,
does anyone have contact information about this?
