Hi Beth,
I think what God thinks, women should be keepers at home if they're
married. It has nothing to do with blindness, mobility skills, or
anything like that. The world says women should work and help pay
the bills. Now, there is something to be said for having a job,
especially if your husband does not have a good-paying job. But once
a married woman has babies, her job becomes raising and caring for
them, and caring for the needs of her husband.
You won't lose your mobility skills if you continue to do things like
shopping and taking the kids to doctor appointments and the
like. And, if you arent employed outside the home before you have
children, God will honor you for your obedience to Him and what you
believe His Word says. What you do is between you, your husband, and
your Lord.
Blessings,
Linda Mentink
