[Faith-talk] prayer request

 My husband, Nicholas Wilcox and I have been married for two years. We love 
the Lord, and we greatly desire children. I have septo optic dysplasia, 
which caused total blindness from birth and hypopituitarism. Due to my lack 
of hormone production, we have been unable to conceive. God is going to need 
to work a miracle for me to get pregnant. So far, he has not chosen to do 
this, but we are still praying. We are also open to adopting infants, 
especially those that are blind or have other special needs. We have two 
strikes against us. We are blind, and we are low income. I have S.S.I. and 
my husband has S.S.D.I and part time work in adaptive computer technology. 
Agencies for adoption hear these things and either do not return our phone 
calls, or tell us we are unable to adopt because of our low income status. 
Please pray that God would grant our request for children, whether by 
conception or adoption. Also, if you know of an other blind individuals who 
were able to adopt even though they are low income, I would love to network 
with them, and find out how they were able to adopt.
