I think it is not right.  I think it should be the parent to tell a child 
this. children seem to be not allowed to be children anymore. and most 
children believe in Santa and usually it is another child  that tries to 
burst the buble.

In your openion, Do you believe a teacher has the right to tell a child, 
"You know Johny, their isn't a such thing as Santa Claws!"  How would you as
