[Faith-talk] A Praise Report and Continuous Prayer

Hello everyone,

    I trust everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving. Pete and I were by 
ourselves. We were supposed to go to his family's, but with there possibly 
being rain in the forecast, my mother-in-law and sister-in-law did not want 
to be driving on slippery roads, so we stayed home. I think everyone was 
thinking along the same line.

    I promised I would keep you posted from last week. My mother had two 
check-ups on Tuesday and Wednesday, and reported a clean bill of health. 
That means, there was no sign of cancer. That's the praise report.

    Second, my dad was able to visit with my Uncle Jim last Friday, and 
reported a nice visit. However, Uncle Jim has to wear a face mask to cover 
up any contact with anyone else's germs. I think after the visit, my dad was 
pretty upset. All we can do is pray for Uncle Jim that whatever God wills be 
done.

    At any rate, that is my report for the time being, and I am going to 
turn in and climb into a warm bed. God bless all of you, and thank you for 
your prayers.
