[Faith-talk] A Couple of Prayer Requests

Good morning everyone,

Here are two prayer requests to pray about:

First, after making my weekly call to my parents, I found out that one
of my uncles, Jim Jeatran, has terminal leukemia, and is only expected to
live anywhere from three weeks to three months. If my memory is correct, he
is 75. He is at one of the hospitals in Madison, Wisconsin, but I am not
sure which one. My dad is going back to Wisconsin Wednesday for a few days
to see him. Right now, my parents are both in Arizona, but Dad is going back
up north Wednesday and coming back to Arizona on Monday. All of the men on
my dad's side of the family have gotten together to go deer hunting for the
past 65 years, and Uncle Jim is going to see everyone at the deer camp this
Friday while he is still alive. Therefore, please pray that God's will be
done for his leukemia, and also pray for strength for his wife Karen. I am
sure she needs it at this time.

In addition, since my parents are back in Arizona, my mother has two
check-ups, one with the physician and one with the oncologist. I am not sure
which one comes first. One appointment is tomorrow, and the other is next
Tuesday. In any case, please pray that the cancer she had is in remission. I
should know a little more after next Tuesday, so I will keep everyone
posted.

Thank you for all of your prayers, and have a blessed day.

Mary Donahue
