[Faith-talk] A Successful Surgery

Good evening everyone,

First of all, I want to thank Beth, Joanne, Mary Ellen, and Karmelyn for
volunteering their prayers for my mother. The prayers helped. My mother came
through her surgery, and according to both her and my dad, the doctor got
just about all of the cancer. However, she will have to go through radiation
treatment for six weeks. If she had been in Hayward, Wisconsin, where their
summer home is, she probably would have had to drive to Mayo Clinic in
Rochester, Minnesota, for the surgery, and that would have been a longer
ride. The Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale is not very far from their house.
Therefore, her surgery was an outpatient surgery, and she was home the same
afternoon. She was playing lazy tonight, and one of their neighbors was
bringing over some potato salad for their supper. I will let you all know
how the radiation treatment goes. Please continue to pray for good radiation
sessions for the next six weeks. Thank you again for your prayers so far,
and God bless you all!

Mary Donahue
