[Faith-talk] Praise Report

Just wanted to let everyone know, that two nights ago, on the 20th.  I was 
baptised by Pastor Mark Harris of First Baptist Church Charlotte, NC.  I am 
now starting to reach out to more people and make new friends, especially, 
but I wonder if there is anyone who may possibly know a way to specificly 
meet more people in my church.  This church has over 30 something odd 
hundred people in the membership, so, it's somewhat tricky, and 
unfortunately, you really can't get to know someone that well during service 
just in the little time when we greet one another.  For a church this big, I 
didn't know if maybe you all might have any suggestions.  Most all of my 
friends I have are through both the phone and through the net, so I'd really 
like to reach out and meet new peolple so that I could have someone locally 
to hang out with, maybe do some recriational things with etc. I'm tired of 
just sitting in my house all day being cooped up doing nothing, you know 
what I mean?


Anyway, if anyone has any suggestion let me know.
