[Faith-talk] The Interview: Please Continue to Pray

Good evening again everyone,

Last week, I posted a message calling for prayers because of a job
interview for a Braille proofreader position at Education Service Center,
Region 20. I went for the interview this morning. The Braille Coordinator
explained about the structure and function of the Braille Department and
goals for the future. Her supervisor also came in and talked to me briefly
and asked me a few questions. On the whole, I thought the interview went
well. So far, I have been the only applicant to apply for the position
although some Federationists volunteered to work on a contractual basis. The
decision is whether to take this job if it is offered or to continue working
as a freelance proofreader and as a customer care sales and service
specialist for Marriott. Only God can make that decision. Therefore, please
pray that God's will be done in this situation. It now depends on the
criminal background check and what my immediate supervisor and human
resources director say, for I used the HR director for Marriott Reservation
Center, along with my immediate supervisor, as references. Whatever happens,
I was assured that I would receive a letter by snail mail both in print and
in Braille. At this point, I am going to pray and leave it in God's hands,
and let Him decide. If He wants me to have my old job back, I will resign
with Marriott and change jobs.

That's where things stand right now, and I will continue to keep all of
you posted. Thank you for your prayers, and God bless all of you!

Mary Donahue
