Actually, some lists are set up so that you don't get your own 
messages, but an acknowledgement that they went to the list.  so 
perhaps Beth is familiar with some lists where her messages do not go 
back to her own mailbox.
But those must be the exception that proves your rule, Linda; because 
right now I'm on quite a number of lists all of which send my posts to me.
