Hello, everyone! Linda and Judy, thanks for answering my message! I really appreciate it!

here's a little about me. I am totally blind, 26 years old, and living in Iowa. However, I am soon to be moving to Omaha Nebraska, where I just got hired as a reservations agent for Hyatt Hotels. That move should take place at the end of September. I was raised Catholic, came to know Christ in an Assembly of god church in 1995, and then went to a Bible college affiliated with the Independent Christian Churches/Churches of Christ. How's that for a mouthful? the college was Lincoln Christian College, in Illinois. My major was Family Life counseling. I'm hoping to go back for my Master's degree, and get licensure as a mental health counselor, to work with at-risk youth. I'm toying with the idea of getting my Master's from Grace University in Omaha, depending on how the job goes. Needless to say, that's in God's hands.

Linda, I too carry my Bible in my BrailleNote, but it's the NIV version. I remember when I was younger and went to youth conventions where they said, "Bring your Bible," and I'm thinking, "I will if you have a U-haul for me." The advent of note-takers is a blessing in that sense!

I hope to get to know more of you.

Alicia
