I'm not sure your requirements or is it demands, Grin. Can be met. A lot of older ones have learned to use an iPhone with the correct training. Thing is though, they want to be trained. For me anyway it seems like you are, or want to be living the entitlement life like some younger ones, in their 20s, they expect things to be handed to them with little effort. The old "Work smart" let someone else do it, mentality. Only in your case, you are playing the blind and senior citizen card to the hilt. One woman in her 40s, admitted after the pandemic she loved being able to pick up the phone and order things, get sighted people to dolt on her every need. As she said, "I play the blind card as much as I can." She got free computers, a guide dog she rarely used, a talking MP3 player that she could use for recording and playing notes, an iPhone etc. I sincerely hope my idea of what you are expecting is inaccurate. I've just known too many men and women, who live a life of solitude and have people bailing them out constantly when they do or say things they shouldn't. In some married women's case, their husband is constantly smoothing out problems they have because of their crusty nature. I turned a corner in a building to sharp and got a gash on my forehead and had to go to emergency. One such woman tried to suggest to anyone who'd listen that I was drunk.

Hi All,

I am blind, 79 and do not use a Smart Phone, nor do I want to! I need a piece of equipment which I can use for making notes for myself and there is audio output and input, is not too large or very expensive. That's all!

Thanks,

Laura
