I'm not sure if I am going to be able to get it with all the home
improvements we are doing. You may get it before I do. If so, my Email is

I may have to change it Wednesday as we are going to try AT&T since we have
had so much trouble but I will try to let the list know if that is the case.
The button on the bottom is why I want it so. I have the 8+ which is the
last that had that. I am so afraid it won't be popular enough for Apple to
keep producing it and this is why I want to get it sooner than later. I am
so glad it is as fast as the 11.

Face recognition is not a feature of this phone. I'm so happy about that!
The button at the bottom of the screen is still there also. (yay)

That's very good to know about the speed as that was something about which I
was very curious. Do you know if you have to do face recognition or can you
bypass that. I don't really have anything particularly sensitive on mine and
currently have no password on my 8+ as I also have no finger print. I
thought everybody in the world had a finger print but I do not and it has
been tried multiple times for various reasons (noncriminal) without success.

Hi Carol,

I plan to purchase the phone you mentioned. As I understand it, the reasons
they are less expensive is the design for one thing, and less storage for
another. I don't download movies or any thing that would require more space.
The advantage for me is it has the same speed as the model 11. This is
according to articles I have read.

I think it's a great choice and hope you'll enjoy the phone.

I am interested in the SE as I want the home key as I have in the 8+. It
still works well but I fear that if this one with the home key proves
unpopular, it won't be on the market very long. It seems a good deal less
expensive also and so I am also wondering the reason for that. My needs are
not great, mainly talking and texting but I would no doubt do more aps if I
could master them. I can often get in but then can't find what I want within
them. I do Pandora. However, an interesting thing that I find is that I can
verbally turn Pandora on but not off unless I shut the power off which is
how I solve that problem. Let me know your thoughts regarding any of these
matters.
