Hello Sandra,

You may find a bluetooth keyboard useful. There are small ones the size of the phone and also standard size models. These work very well and reduce or eliminate some of the issues you mention. I recommend ATGuys.com for great accessible accessories.

I hope this helps.

Warmest Regards,

Fred

The other thing, besides just being on a learning curve for ‘Droid, having both Aspergers and blindness, and icons moving around is, at this point, my fine-motor issues are making it a challenge when I, say, have to double-tap something—I tap in one location, then, without realizing it, do the second tap in a different location. But, since no one has yet come out with a perfect phone for my needs, I’m not willing to let this die. I will definitely have to explore the possibility of shutting down the TalkBack sounds without losing the vocals, though—that sounds promising. My first phone was a Haven, my second, an LGNV3, and I really want the capability of a smartphone paired with the ease of use of Haven, but guess that won’t happen... One of the things that makes life interesting...
