[Electronics-talk] accurate talking scale

Hi again,
I think if you know how far off your scale is from the doctor's scale and it stays consistently that range away from the "norm," then it is more manageable to keep up with fluctuations in weight.

I don't think any of these talking scales is particularly accurate. The one
I have was described as "accurate" in the Independent Living Aids catalog,
but its readings tend to be about 5 pounds overweight compared to the
readings on the scale in my doctor's office. And it speaks the weight
readings with a Chinese accent which is sometimes difficult to understand.
So you pays your money and you takes your chances.

I have the same problem--and probably the same scale. I remedy the problem
by going with whichever number is duplicated. Saves money in the end.

Subject: [Electronics-talk] accurate talking scale
Could someone recommend an accurate talking scale? When I weigh myself, I
can stand on the scale three times and all three times get quite a wide
range of weights. I'm not even sure which model of scale I have, but it has
a female talking voice and I am really looking for a more accurate scale.
Thanks in advance for your recommendations.
