As most of you know I have been producing DAISY versions of various
scriptures in English. Here then is a summery of what I have done as
well as distribution notes. All the volumes can be downloaded from: http://w3.wmcnet.org/dtbmaker/books/
unless otherwise noted. All of the text are recorded with the Alex
voice from Apple.

The Bible
King James Version - Old Testament, New Testament and Apocrypha as
separate DAISY volumes in 2.02 and DAISY/NISO 2005 format. Navigation
to the verse.

Douay-Rheim (Catholic) - Old Testament, New Testament, Apocrypha
books including in the main text. DAISY volumes in 2.02 and DAISY/NISO
2005 format. Navigation to the verse.

Jefferson Bible - The gosples compiled into a single book by Thomas
Jefferson. Jefferson removed all of the miracles from the narative as
well as the resurrection of Christ and the post -resurrection
accounts. Daisy 2.02 and Daisy/NISO 2005 Navigation is to the verse.

New International Version (NIV) - Old Testament and New Testament on a
single ISO disk image. Distribution is restricted to libraries,
agencies, school, churches and missions serving the blind for
duplication for their clients. Daisy 2.02 and Daisy/NISO 2005 For more
information contact me at: gkearney at gmail.com

LDS (Mormon) Scriptures
The LDS (Mormon) Church uses several books of scripture in addition to
the the King James version of the Bible. The LDS Church in Salt Lake
City is in the process of producing DAISY versions of these titles as
well as the King James version of the Bible read by human readers.

Daisy 2.02 and Daisy/NISO 2005 (z3986) versions of the Book of Mormon,
The Doctrine and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price that provides
navigation down to the verse.

	• The Book of Mormon Daisy 2.02 and Daisy/NISO 2005
	• The Doctrine and Covenants Daisy 2.02 and Daisy/NISO 2005
	• Pearl of Great Price Daisy 2.02 and Daisy/NISO 2005

The Koran
Daisy 2.02 and Daisy/NISO 2005 (z3986) versions of an English langauge
translaton of the Koran that provides navigation down to the verse.
This is an .iso file of a CD-ROM it is over 170 megabytes in size.

I would welcome suggestions for other works, in particular Buddhist
and hindu scriptures in English as I am not familiar with what should
be produced.
