Be careful about giving the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) power
it does not have. The ADA prohibits some kinds of discrimination under
certain circumstances. It is not global. For sure, the ADA includes no
requirement for manufacturers to produce accessible consumer products.

The ADA applies if your disability affects your ability to perform a
major life activity...such as see, hear or walk. Not whether or not your
can listen to an MP3 player. So if you have a visual impairment, you
should expect that an MP3 manufacturer will produce a product that you
can use with your limited vision.
Access is Access. It means access to everything.
