OK I got the idea from the press release the other day about dtbook
plug in for Microsoft Word. I have developed a DTBook converter for
Macintosh.
Run this program and it will convert the front document open in
TextEdit, the built in editor in MacOS, to a DTBook XML file. It will
then open that file in TextEdit for further editing.
It will convert any file that can be opened in TextEdit including RTF,
DOC, various MS Word formats and HTML.
For best results put the program in to /Library/Scrips/Applications/
TextEdit and then run it from the scripts menu in TextEdit. Follow the
hints that the program shows for file and path names. (no spaces please)
Please contact me if you would like to test a beta copy of this
program. It is free.
