Yes, a DAISY book will play on the NLS pilot player. Its books are
also daisy books. You will need to transfer the cards to your
memory card, or to burn them to a CD.

I also wasn't sure how to play the Daisy book, and opened the site
below,
but did not find a link to download TPB Reader. I have a Victor
Reader
(provided by NLS for the DTB beta test program), will a Daisy book
play on
that machine? Excuse my ignorance, but I am rather new to DTBs,
and am
trying to catch-up.

If you are on Windows then I would suggest TPB Reader you can
download it from this link: http://w3.wmcnet.org/dtbmaker/books/
TPBReader.zip it's about 12 megabytes.
Mac users will need VictorSoft for Mac
Linux can use idair.
