Hi Jeff,
Hahahahahaahahaha! Welcome to the mainstream! We get to wait for the
books we want just like everyone else! That is where I strive to be...
Cheers,
Sharlyn

Subject: [Dtb-talk] Question about Overdrive books and transferring to
an MP3 player
Hello, list,
Hopefully this question about the Overdrive book service is close
enough to the DTB subject to qualify for this list.
I have recently begun downloading and listening to Overdrive books
through my local talking book library. I was under the impression
that the 2 week check out time limit did not apply to placing a book
on a player equipped with a WMA DRM license. However, it appears the
Overdrive Console is the only way to transfer a book's files to an
MP3 player and it, also, tracks the experation date.
So, is there a way around this or was I mistaken about there being no
time limit for transfering?
Thanks,
Jeff
