Sarah:
I have used my Stream with many different kinds of ear phones, and
ear buds, and it worked with them all. Apparently it has problems
with some Bose noise canceling head phones, but I haven't heard of
problems with anything else.
The CD is a CD-ROM and contains a number of different kinds of
files including the manual and a tutorial and more.
You will have to ask Humanware about the availability of a Braille
manual.
There is also a Stream mailing list if you are interested.

Hello. I recently purchased a victor reader stream. are there
other headphones that will work with the stream instead of the ear
buds? I received a cd with the stream. Is it a regular compact
disc, or is it a cd rom? Is a Braille manual available? Thank you.
Sarah
