That much we can agree when I had the libre 2 senssors, when I had issues I would get it taken care of and new sensors shipped out within 2 to 3 business days.

Lisa, both products get censor errors and I know that Libre is replacing them in good faith. You should check with Abbott to see if the batch you have is among the ones they know of that were defective. I know they sent out emails about this and have replaced all that I know of in good faith. Even in switching pharmacies you could have the same problem. We had three go bad, in my husband's stash, and 2 in mine, but once we got through those all has been fine. The price for Dexcom is much higher, and your insurance company may or may not cover it. It is easy to blame Libre for this, and I notice that even when a problem is being rectified by them people want things faster. But the only way you get replacement censors faster is if you pick them up locally. Mail order is slower, but I find that I save quite a bit of money on my costs. So I say think carefully and wisely before you jump ship because no product is always perfect.

Subject: [Diabetes-Talk] Returning List Member with Libre Question
Hi, all.
I was on this list until sometime early last year. I think the NFB was having server troubles and I somehow got removed from the list by accident. Happily, I finally got myself resubscribed.
I'm wondering if anyone has had issues over the past few months with Libre 3 Plus sensors reading extremely low? My last sensor was off by over 40 points. I was getting constant false low glucose alarms I tested and verified my sugar wasn't that low. I got about a week into the new sensor and got so frustrated I replaced it with another one. This one is also reading lower than usual, but it's not off as much. I use an on line pharmacy and I'm afraid something is off with this whole batch of sensors.
I've gone through the process of contacting Libre tech support and being sent a new sensor. It's frustrating and time consuming, and I don't feel like it really makes a difference.
My sister is also a Type II and had had the same problems. We get our sensors from two different pharmacies.
Should I start the process to switch to Dexcom? I realize no system is perfect, but it seems like the Libre product has really gone downhill since I switched to the updated 3 Plus.
Any thoughts welcome.
Lisa
