[Colorado-Talk] For Those Of You Updating your iPhones/iPads to iOS or iPadOS 18.2

Hello everyone:

 

For anyone who has updated their iPhones or iPads to iOS 18.2 or iPadOS
18.2, you may have noticed that there has been a fundamental change in the
way messages are displayed in the Mail program. By default, the Mail program
attempts to display messages using the following categories:

 

Primary,

Transactions,

Updates, and

*	Promotions.

 

If this is not to your liking, there is a procedure to return to the view
you were using prior to the update.

 

1.	Open the Mail program to the list of email messages.
2.	Find the Inbox heading at the top of the screen. To the left of this
heading, there is a More button. tap this button (VoiceOver users, perform a
one-finger double-tap).
3.	In the resulting screen, you will find two choices: Categories and
List View. Activate List View.

 

That's all there is to it.
