Greetings fellow Federationists:

 

I am pleased to tell you that SB21-188 passed the Senate this morning on
third reading. It now moves to the House. House sponsors include
Representatives David Ortiz and Monica Duran.

 

We are one step closer to being able to cast our votes without having to use
a printer.

Greetings all -

 

SB21-188, a bill that would give voters with disabilities, including

blind voters, the option of returning ballots electronically rather

than printing and mailing them back, moved forward this week. On

Tuesday, it passed the Senate State, Veterans and Military Affairs

Committee 3-2. Tomorrow it is scheduled for 3rd (and final) Reading on

the floor of the Senate. It passed Friday on 2nd Reading. If passed,

it will go to the House where Reps. Duran and Ortiz will carry it.
