[Colorado-talk] The big event! Won’t be big with out you!

Howdy colleagues and friends. As the weekend comes to a close. I realize that our big race event is three weeks from yesterday. We are not having a fundraising raffle to support scholarships and braille literacy programs this year. So we must count on each other to replace those raffle dollars. Please register! Even if you don’t want to run or walk in the race. Maybe you want to volunteer. Many of the Colorado Springs chapter members who are not going to run or walk are registering anyway as a virtual racer. That way they make a contribution which is much much appreciated! Remember how many of us would sell raffle tickets to our friends and families in person or through our social media and email blasts. You can encourage folks all over the country to make a contribution by registering. So, please! Spread the word. Register. Volunteer. And no matter what. Join us for the big event. Bring folks with you. Not only is this a fundraiser. It is an excellent way to raise the profile of the Colorado Center for the blind and the work we do and the people we are in the Littleton community. We now have four breweries to be featured in our blind beer tasting. You probably know that our very own, stray dog will be entertaining immediately following the race. Dog! Face painting and bounce house for the kids. We didn’t have that last year. Bigger and better than ever. Don’t miss a minute of it. And please, this is our big deal. So make it a priority. Do something very cool to support the event over the next three weeks and on race day! Let’s go build, the national Federation of the blind of Colorado and our Colorado Center for the blind. Love you guys. This is going to rock!
