[Colorado-talk] NFB of Denver Chapter Meeting Saturday

Greetings –

The pumpkins are ready, the leaves changing and the Colorado ballots
will be mailed next week, Monday, October 17.

So, for our October 15 meeting the NFB of Denver Chapter will focus on
the election, access to information regarding ballot issues and to
private, independent voting.  Our meeting is from 10 a.m. to noon this
Saturday, and we will have Marlu Burkamp from the Arapahoe-Douglas
League of Women Voters to explain the 24 different issues on the
November 8 ballot.  Following Marlu will be Arapahoe County Clerk Matt
Crane who will bring the new electronic voting system for all to try
out.  The system’s manufacturer, Dominion, is the sole provider in
Colorado now, and it’s a different system than we used in Arapahoe
County in 2014, so here’s a great chance to become familiar with it
before actually voting.

Matt and Co. will be able to stay past the noon close of the meeting
for further demonstrations.
