[Colorado-talk] Article: The Blind Side

Arielle put into words what I was thinking about the article, well said. It
is about perception and very true that we do fail to the level of our
training (at times) instead of rising to our expectations. I personally
have enjoyed running with a group and in local races for several years now &
there are so many positive aspects that the writer could have focused on.
Who is the blind one here?

This article turns my stomach. As I prepare to go to CSDB this afternoon, I
wonder how the students would react to this article. This could be a story
written about any blind school. It demonstrates how people who think they
are "helping" can do more harm than good.

this article didn't make me feel all warm and gooey inside. It makes the
kids sound dumb. I agree with arielle I can find a bar just fine.
Sometimes I have to say Pj lets find home. lol!
Have a blessed day.

This is meant to be another inspirational piece, but I find it more
disquieting than heartwearming. Am I alone in this?
