[Colorado-talk] Taxes for Travel Package?

Typically not but that is a question for a tax advisor such as an CPA.
Usually, prizes as small as this aren't a problem and larger items, like
cars, are. Again, a CPA is best to address that question.

Scott

Subject: [Colorado-talk] Taxes for Travel Package?

Hi,

I'm drawing a blank right now on this so thought I'd just ask. Does the
winner of the $3500 Amazing Travel Raffle have to pay any taxes or whatever
on the funds when they win? I know that in some older raffles years ago if
you won a car you had to pay taxes on the value of the car or some such
thing. Just thought I'd ask.

Thanks,
Everett
