Hello Everyone!!

I am encouraging ALL VI athletes, regardless of age and running level to
take part in these High School meets being offered for the first time for
all para athletes. Please let me know if you would like to participate. I
will contact the meet director on your behalf. These are free. This is the
forward email below.

It will take "seeing" other VI's of all ages to lead the way for VI
inclusion in the public schools. This is NEW to Colorado. Please help
create momentum in the sport by participating.

I will also be sending information on group training runs in a separate
email. If you have question regarding time of events, please contact meet
director Thomas Southall.

Just wanted to touch base regarding the visual impaired running clinic
scheduled for Saturday, April 13th from 1-3PM at the East Boulder Community
Center. ****

·         Deb---would you like to take the lead on this and I will be there
to support…get snacks etc?  What do you need from me Deb?  Meg our
part-time staff will be available to assist as needed.  I will be sending
out an e-mail soon to make sure our VI participants are aware of the
running program etc.****

·         Last VI Swim has been moved to Saturday, May 18th from 3-5PM.
Since the biking did not work out and swimming seemed to be well received
and attended….we will have the leisure pool (warm water)from 3:30-4:30PM as
that will best meet the needs of the participants from a swim
progression/safety perspective.****
