[Colorado-talk] Greetings

  Greetings all!
   
    I am George McDermith, located in Colorado Springs and a NFB member.  I also serve as the moderator of this list.  In order to increase the enjoyment for all on this list a few basic rules that I am sure are redundant should be noted.
   
              No flaming- if one wishes to degrade another then please do so off list.  Insults hurled over the list results in a lot of unpleasant mail and taken up space.
   
              Relevant links- Please insure that if you post a link to the list that it is relevant to the National Federation of the Blind, blindness, or something of importance to the blind at large.  The super cool link about the nuclear bunny of much death ought to be send over private mail.
   
              Common courtesy- Please remember to keep conversations polite.  I can’t begin to express how many reasonable people I have seen turn into insulting boars over a list when one or the other has failed to remember this basic rule.
   
              As I said these I am sure are redundant, but I believe it is better to be redundant then to have potential issues.
   
              It is wonderful to have all of you here as we change what it means to be blind!
