Do you know a blind student age 10 - 15? This is a great opportunity for learning and fun in Seattle.

The National Federation of the Blind of Washington will offer an NFB STEM2U program to students age 10 - 15 on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Washington Talking Book and Braille Library (2021 9th Ave., Seattle, WA 98121) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided. We will become astronomers through the study of astrophysics and engineering. Join us to build models of the James Webb Space Telescope, learn about the Earth’s atmosphere, discover why the Webb was sent to space, and explore how it studies space. STEM can be accessible; let us show you how! For more information, please contact Marci Carpenter <mailto:mjc59 at comcast.net>or Chris Higley <mailto:chrishighley13 at gmail.com>.

To register, please complete the NFB STEM2U registration form <https://nfb.org/programs-services/education/nfb-stem2u/nfb-stem2u-application>.
