Subject: Service Changes for September 2022 and January 2023
To: <merribeth.manning at gmail.com>

C-TRAN is making service adjustments on several routes to improve the
customer experience through increased service hours and trips. These
changes will be implemented in two phases, starting in September 2022,
followed by additional changes that are proposed to take effect in January
2023. Altogether, the changes add up to thousands of hours in additional
service each year. All of it going towards Local bus service here in Clark
County.

*September 2022*

Here’s what you will see starting in September 2022:

   - Schedule adjustments for Routes 2, 6, 7, 9, 19, 25, 30, 31, 32, 37,
   41, 47, 48, 60, 65, 67, 71, 72, 74, 78, 80, 92, and The Vine.
   - Added weekend trips for Routes 6, 7, 19, 25, 30, 31, 32, 37, 71, 72,
   74, 78, 80, 92
   - Added weekday trips for Routes 6 and 71.
   - Reroute a segment of Route 78 to serve 88th Street between St. Johns
   Road and Andresen Road.
   - Changes to stop locations for Routes 105/105X and 164 along the
   downtown Portland Transit Mall.
   - Expanded service zones for The Current in the Port of Vancouver and
   Camas/Washougal service areas.

*January 2023 *

C-TRAN is also proposing a series of changes in January 2023. These
concepts would expand on the investments we’re making in September and
further boost Local bus service in Clark County. With these changes, many
routes would have matching weekend service, meaning the schedule is the
same on Saturdays and Sundays. Here’s what we’re proposing:

   - Added weekend trips for Routes 7, 48, 72, 74, and 92.
   - Increased frequency on weekends for Routes 71 and 80.
   - Increased frequency on weekdays for Route 74.
   - Expanded service hours for The Current in the Port of Vancouver.
   - Expanded service zone for The Current in Camas/Washougal.
