Yes, that is correct.
Hilton has the same thing.
If you are a Hilton Honors member you can use your Hilton Honors app to
checkin, checkout, use a digital key, pick your room, etc.
You would have to sign up for the MGM membership program and download the
app to be able to use it at the Mandlay.
