The Support Group for the Blind and Visually Impaired would like to invite
anyone who is interested in attending a talk about getting involved in
sports or activities like swimming, walking, bowling and even the Dragon
Boat Races.

 

On Thursday March 5th, Stacey Gibbins from the North West Association for
Blind Athletes will give a presentation about sports and other activities.
The presentation will begin at 1:30 and should wrap up within 20 to 30
minutes. The location  is in the Boardroom at the Blind School. The
Boardroom is in the three story, old brick building on the floor below the
DSB Department and is next to the stairs. 

 

Stacey will collect information if you want to be on their information list.
It sounds like the more people who are interested will increase the chances
of something happening. If you are interested, would you call Chris
Carstensen at 360-256-2644 and that will ensure Stacey brings enough
business cards and flyers.

 

After questions to Stacey, our Support Group for The Blind and Visually
Impaired individuals will share ideas until three. if you leave after
Stacey's talk or stay, you are welcome. There will be refreshments.  Hope
you can make it and find out the latest information.
