AER is short for th Association of Education and Rehabilitation of
the Blind and Visually Impaired. It tends to be an organization of
"establishment professionals" in the blindness field, my
words. Members are teachers of the blind and visually impaired,
primarily K-12, rehab counselors and others.
At one time they would not certify blind O&M people. Don't know
where that stands now.
