Accessible Voting

The federally required Accessible Voting Unit (AVU) is equipped with audio and visual technology that allows voters with vision, hearing and mobility issues to vote a truly secret ballot and to vote more independently.

Voting on the accessibility voting units will be available 20 days prior to each election during normal office hours.  On Election Day, accessible voting equipment is available from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM.  If you request, assistance will be provided when using the accessible voting unit.

The AVU will be available at the Elections Department at 1408 Franklin, Vancouver , WA .  If you need assistance getting to our office and are not able to use regular C-Tran buses, please contact C-Van at: (360) 695-8918 or (TTY) (360) 695-2760.

The following links will provide you with the information you need about accessible voting options offered in Clark County .  We strongly encourage all citizens to vote, because voting allows you to elect the officials who create the laws and policy that directly impact your daily life. In other words, voting is the simplest way to make your voice heard!
