[Cccnfbw] Picnic location

Hello, My name is Dawn Georgeades.  I have a son Named Jakobi who is 3 years old and is blind and has partial defness because he had stage 4 neuroblastoma cancer at 8 months old.  I cannot remember how I got on this list.  I was curious as to what all this National Federation of the Blind stuff is.  Is it a volunteer organization?  Does it cost money to get involved? What all do they do for the blind community?  I wasnt sure if this was something I was even supposed to be on a list for :)

Ok to simplify things and make things safer for people lets just have the picnic at the Piano hospital house next door. It is a much better bus situation and there are bathrooms and I will be glad to help Don set things up and take things down so let's do it. Les F

I am very sure I could get permission for us to hold our picnic in the back
yard of our house next to the piano hospital. We did it there when I was
president many years ago. 

We have tables and chairs we can set up, and If our returning student has
not returned by then we would have a kitchen we could use. We could move in
to the building if by some slim chance it should rain.

I will check on the availability and let you know tomorrow.

Our building is accessible by bus routes 37, 32 and 2. All are within two
blocks of the school.
