They had a good turnout of about 75 people.  The co-chair of the campaign spoke and acknowledged other key campaign people and local politicians.  He spoke about the importance of C-tran in the community.  Two individuals who were disabled spoke about how the possible reduction of service to C-Tran would impact them.  There were light refreshments and socializing .  There was a basket where individuals put envelopes with donations.  It looked like the basket was full, but there was no heavy pressure to donate.  Nice event.
