[Cccnfbw] Braille reading program

The braille readers are leaders program is different from the radio reading theater. We have a volunteer to act as a main person in this project. This project is very popular because kids want to be on the internet radio station.

It is true that these things get bumped for other social events, but we are working to avoid nights that would have conflicts. We had 6 kids on our first meeting on Monday September 21. The kids decided to do a play written by other kids that we got from the internet. the play is called the trial of Socrates.

Mike I think that is true for any thing kids are involved in. Of course, we keep it fun and intresting and they will stay or bring friends.

Is this the say thing that Don is doing for the radio reading program?

Being a partial, I don't use braille as much as I should. Ineed to brush up on it. This could be a good way to do it. Don can you post more info on when and where?

With respect, what guarantees will we have that kids will show up for
more than one or two meetings? I was initially quite enthusiastic about
reading projects with WSSB but, frankly, haven't seen a great deal of
encouragement from WSSB staff for students to participate. The first
meeting or two are always well-attended. But as soon as the birthday
parties and more interesting social events get underway, our reading
project always seems to be put on the back-burner. Such behavior tends
  to dampen my enthusiasm somewhat.

On the other hand, it would be super-cool if we could get WSSB to
encourage participation in our Braille Readers are Leaders contest.

Hello list members Don is looking for people to help with his braille
reading program at WSSB It would be really great if some of you could
  step
up and help. This would be very rewarding to you and would be a Godsend
  for
the kids that are involved in the program. We really need to encourage
  and
support these kids learning and reading braille. Thanks
