[CapChapOhio] Special announcement and meeting reminder

Hello Capital Chapter,

I hope all of you are having a wonderful spring so far. It has been a while since we have had a chapter meeting due to conflicts last month. So, I am very much looking forward to our chapter meeting this Saturday, June 7, at 10:00 AM. We will be meeting at the Clinton Heights Lutheran Church at 15 Clinton Heights Ave. I’m looking forward to seeing everybody there.

Now, for a very special announcement. Dan Kelly, who is one of our chapter members, has been awarded the distinguished blind educator of the year award given by the national Federation of the blind. He will receive his award at our national convention in New Orleans. Congratulations to Dan. We are very proud to have you as a part of our chapter.

I know typically we have been going to lunch after our chapter meetings. I was not able to make any plans to do this for this meeting because Misty and I will not be able to go out This month. We have a show to go see downtown at 2 o’clock. So, I thought we might just order in some pizzas or sandwiches and have there at the church. Any and all of you are welcome to join us, or if all of you would like to go out somewhere, that would be great too.
