Hi all.
I would like to here from both the board members and the cabs members.
When within the next two weekends would be a good time to have both a
cabs meeting and a board meeting.
Its obvious that this weekend wouldn't work, because people are
returning to their homes for the start of school.
I am putting this out there so that I can get your geedback.
This way I can try and reserve the state conference line.
Scott wants specific dates.
Secondly, amy and becky, you were selected to gather door prizes for
both the student seminar and the convention.
The rest of us are going to help out.
but you two are the primary people on this.
You have to report to me though what you gather.
Third, for those of you in colorado springs, there will hopefully, be a
colorado asociation of blind students club, forming on the UCCS campus.
Fourth, nijat and maurice are handling the technology part of out
student seminar.
So any ideas should be turned in to them.
fifth, we have recieved one nomination for the ray mcgeorge award.
This nomination is being submitted by Doris Willoughby.
Finally, our seminar will take place saturday afternoon at state
convention.
We have also been asked to help wit the newsline table during the
sinior's possibilities fair.
Oh and one more thing, we are writing a ressollution concerning
excessible textbooks for higher education in the state of colorado.
Any other serious pending issues related to students you guys thing that
we should write a ressollution on, let me know.
I believe this is all for now.
I would like to hear from the CabS board on a good meeting time for
writing the constetution, and I would also like to hear from the CABS
membership a good time to have a cabs meeting.
Once again, we will no longer waste meeting time calling people to join
the meetings.
Thank you for reading this message.
Hope you all have had a wonderful summer.
Have a blessed and wonderful day.
Sincerely,
Melissa R. Green
