Dear Family and Friends:
I recently accepted the challenge once again to raise funds to support the
National Federation of the Blind (NFB) Imagination Fund. In order to
participate in this event which will take place during our national convention in
Dallas, Texas this coming July, I pledged to raise a minimum of $10,000.
I'm not good at asking for money, but the work of the NFB that is funded by
this event will benefit so many blind children, youth, and others that I
simply cannot let my fear stand in the way of making this sincere request for
your financial support. I have personally benefitted from the research and
development that the NFB has done as my KNFB Reader Classic reads restaurant
menu's and many other paper and brochure materials to me making me truely
independent once again. Until you have experienced a truely life changing
disability you can't imagine what a simple thing like being able to understand printed
materials without someone reading it to you can mean to the spirit and mind.
For information about this volunteer fund raiser and the programs of the
NFB, you can visit www.ImaginationFund.org.
You can make your tax-deductible donation towards my goal online using the
link below.

If you would prefer, you can send your contribution to the address listed
below.
I know you will be as generous as you can. Whatever you can give will help -
it all adds up! I greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted
on my progress.
Blessings,
Dwight
